Many kitchen witches focus their spirituality on ancestry spirits and home and hearth deities. A kitchen witch isn't always a practicing witch, they may be a member of any type of religion or no religion.

They may use ritual energy in their magical workings, however, kitchen witchery typically involves environmental energies, such as herbs, foods, oils and everyday objects. These are infused with their own personal witchy energy which focuses their intent. Kitchen witches, for the most part, are pretty practical, they aren't super strict about ingredients, they are very much willing to improvise if need be and make substitutions where needed. Kitchen witches combine withccraft in their everyday activities in the home. Usually, they are very crafty and love working with their hands, whether its sewing, knitting, painting or doing any type of crafty type of art. It is a very strong way that they can weave their majick.

They may also recite chants while cooking or baking while they stir, knead and mix in order to really infuse their intentions and energies into the final dish. When it comes to home decor, most kitchen witches use magical protective symbols or they may be in harmony with nature and the elements. You may see a theme throughout their home which reflects their path and their personality as well. This is usually done by intuition and instinct.

Kitchen witches incorporate their magic in all aspects of cleaning, tidying, and general housekeeping. This can include laundry as well many may make their own cleaning solutions with herbs and oils.
